Who I am
Callable Studio is the trading name of Syed Shafai, an independent developer (sole proprietor) at Biscoman Bhavan, Bank Road, Patna 800001, Bihar, India. I am responsible for the personal data described here. To contact me about your data, use the form on the Contact page or write to syed.shafai@gmail.com.
What data I collect and why
- Contact form and email: your name, work email, company, and the message you write. I use it to reply to your request and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal and invoices.
- Business outreach: if I write to you first, I use your name, professional role and work email, which I found on a public page such as your company’s website or professional profile. I use them only to contact you about my professional service, and my message tells you where I found them.
- Website visits: this site is hosted on WordPress.com, which may collect technical data such as IP address and basic usage statistics under its own privacy policy.
Legal basis
Where the law requires a legal basis: your request or a contract with you, and my legitimate interest in running a business and offering a relevant professional service.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted after 12 months. If you ask me to stop contacting you, I keep only a minimal note so that I do not contact you again. Invoice records are kept as long as tax rules require.
Who else sees it
Service providers I use to run the business, such as WordPress.com for this site, my email provider, and payment providers when I invoice you. I do not sell personal data. Data is processed in India and may pass through providers’ servers in other countries.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can object to me contacting you at any time. Use the Contact page, or simply reply “no” to any message from me, and I will act on it promptly. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Client work
When I build for a client, I use only the specifications, sandbox credentials and test data the client provides. I do not ask for production credentials and I do not keep client data after a project ends, other than the delivered code and reports.
